The Man Behind Blanke Productions

Hi, I’m Matt Blanke. I’m originally from Michigan and currently based in Colorado, where I work across videography, photography, editing and sound design.

I studied Broadcast and Cinematic Arts, but most of my development has come from getting into projects.

Filming weddings and live events, creating content for businesses and artists, and designing interactive audio for games. I enjoy the planning and executing that vision when an idea becomes something people can actually watch, hear and experience.

A large part of my life is built around being able to move. I travel in a converted camper van and use it as a mobile base between projects. That flexibility allows me to work throughout the Denver area, travel across Colorado and go farther when the right project calls for it. Being on the road also keeps me connected to new places, people and stories.​ I believe every project starts as a blank page and its my mission to bring what's at the heart to the forefront. I’m comfortable handling projects independently or contributing as part of a larger creative team.

Outside of work, I’m usually watching a movie, getting absorbed in a game, finding new music, cooking, running or exploring somewhere new. Those interests fuel me personally and connect to a unique vision in my work and storytelling.
